I standardized on Panasonic for portable DVD players after previously having good luck renting them from inmotionpictures.com. They are not perfect as this is now #3 unit, in 4 years. The first one acquired "H03" syndrome (an error code), basically means the reader head can't read the disk (but the syndrom is that the disk is actually fine). This was not an LS91 that failed. All the Panasonic players models I have had have a display hinge which articulates in 2 places. This is a downfall as #2 (LS90 I think) failed due to this. I wouldn't place all blame on Pana, as the prime user is a 12 year old boy. So we are on #3, a used LS91. The LS91 has great battery life. If you get a used one, you might need to buy it a new battery, FYI.
Perfect DVD player for travel. Long battery life and great picture quality. One of the best.

As a long time fan of Panasonic DVD Portable player, I am very satisfied with this model, especially since I was able to purchase it in "new" condition. The only thing I do not like is, this model does get very warm while using, but other than that, I am very happy with it.

Great DVD player, works great and picture is very clear. The controls are very straight forward and easy to use. I thought this would be a good thing to have for trips especially on air planes. Also to review digital pictures.
I love the audio, and it really is like sitting in a theater while wearing good quality headphones. The adjustable screen is real nice. It has the largest screen that I have found in a portable player. I like the extra headphone jack so that one more person can listen. If I have to I can use it as a DVD player because of the remote control and the video connections provided.
