    Decent power adapter for the price

    The DC power adapter arrived quickly and appears to be in a new / unused condition, with no visible wear and tear. It is accurately described as having a 5.5/2.1 mm plug. My only reason for 4 stars is the voltage. It is advertised and rated at 3V, however testing shows it at 3.43V. This does not sound like a lot, but it is greater than a 10% tolerance. If you are using for voltage sensitive equipment, it may cause issues. I am using it for LEDs, and this is really close to the maximum voltage allowed. It will work, but I suspect it will shorten the life span of the LEDs, or I must spend a little extra on a resister to compensate. But the price was good for what you are getting. I would recommend if your project can allow for larger voltage tolerances.

    Good quality at a reasonable price! Very accurate voltage level!

    I tested the AC adaptor with my accurate voltmeter, and it was at exactly 3V. Good quality product at a good price! I'd say that many of these low voltage adapters would be well-made. I've used some before, too, and they all worked well, and are quite dependable. Just be sure you use a device that draws amperage within the limits of your adaptor. Using a surge protector is always an added advantage, too, for better protection of electronic plug-in devices. About voltmeters: Simple DC volt meters are normally inexpensive, and that's a good instrument to have. The volt meter I have is an analogue type from around 1990 and it still works good. To check a low-voltage (usually 12V to 15V max. scale reading for the analogue type) voltmeter's accuracy, simply get a new (unused) ...

    Awesome adapter I would buy again fir future projects

    Had some outside solar lights that corroded out and wanted to bring them back to life. Soldered the adapter in place of the solar panel and plugged it outside . It has been outside for over a year on a timer with no issues
