Item was exactly as described. Lightly used. It did have one minor defect in one of the base stations. Upon contact seller provided some steps that might fix it, but it turned out to have some wear and tear that was just too much. Seller offered a partial refund of the value of another sold on ebay. Upon further inspections it looked like the base station had the screen warped from heat during prior usage which made the motors smack into the lense causing it to break a motor.

Hard to find Linux drivers that work
I tried to install on Linux but it never worked (until now). The MediaTek website says it is a legacy product, so there is no more support. Not even the drivers for Linux are available at their website. I have looked at several posts on the internet. None of the instructions were able to make it work. However, one post on GitHub kuba-moo mt7601u said to download the kernel, edit the function phy.c and compile. It has worked since then.I tried to install on Linux but it never worked (until now). Don't buy for linux machines, including Raspberry Pi
Doesn't work with most flavors of linux that I have tried, including typical intel desktop machines as well as Raspbian on Raspberry Pi. Hard to find compatible drivers Windows 7,8,10 recognize it and it works well.

Not a Raspberry Pi Accessory
The MediaTek WiFI USB dongle does not work on a Raspberry Pi, A Raspberryy Pi 2 running the Raspbian Buster OS did not recognize it. To verify, I tested the Raspberry Pi with another brand that did work. The MediaTek did work on a Windows 10 PC.
