This thing was super easy to install (didn't need to drill any extra holes in my tele), easy to adjust and fun & easy to play. It works flawlessly & stays in tune good too. I love it & recommend it. Might buy more for my other telecasters too!

Does not fit with a standard American bridge on a through body set up. The bridge is too long and the springs from the B Bender sit up against the screws of the bridge. Standard Tele bridge is approx. 4" long by 3" wide. The Hip Shot fits with a Vintage style "Top Loader" style bridge due to it being shorter than the modern style bridge. Caution when ordering, can be a pricey mistake if you don't measure your bridge set up first and assume that the Hip Shot fits all Telecaster Guitars, They do not.

Install was fairly simple. My Hipshot was at a slightly more than 90 angle (or the Tele top anle was off.) At any rate, I took a piece of cork and installed it under the strap button to keep the hipshot flush with the top. It settled overnight, required more tuning (and drilling, of course) and now works great! I love it! I don't use the g bender that much right now, but think it will be added to my technique as I progress. Overall a solid and great product!

Works like it is supposed to, 3 screw install with no screws on the face of the guitar, easy to tune, gonna take some time to learn how to use it properly, but it's a lot of fun even if your not an expert

Awesome piece of gear. I bought a cheap Tele to install the bender on, because I didn’t want to screw up anything on my regular go-to Tele. When I learn how to use the bender properly and comfortably I’ll probably transfer it to my better guitar. Pay close attention to the instructions and you can install it pretty easily. The hardest thing about it was getting the darn cardboard off that protects the chrome on the unit (I ended up using needlenose pliers). Expected problem: the lever for the G-bender is in my way when I’m playing, and if I move it it’s too far away to grab quickly. I’m going to have to adjust my playing position to compensate. This is not a huge issue, as the G-bender won’t be used as much as the B-bender. Still, it’s something to consider. Also, be sure to lubricate your bridge saddles, nut, and the cams on the bender. It really helps your guitar stay in tune. Overall, a great and fun addition. Read full review
