well, the blue light goes on indicating that it's operating. But how does one really know if an ionic ozone oxygen cleaner really works? I'm just taking their word for it actually. So it's another gadget for the car, of which the seller has many to choose from. I can't say yay or nay on whether I recommend it or whether I would purchase it again. It's one of those things that you kind of have to trust its claims in order to I believe it's happening. So it is what it is
