Very cool camera first one I purchased Well made. Once I figure out how to navigate Around settings. Can be a little difficult For a beginner like me but over all it does about everything one could want and very Stealth. And I really like the small compact size of the camera very easy to hide and get great pictures

Love the camera I have 3 of them as well as 4 M40I cameras. The basic difference is the M40i cameras are 16 megapixels and the M50I cameras are 20 megapixel. However I am Very Disappointed in Moultrie for being out of the MV1 modems i want to pair up to the cameras. They have none available, all retail stores are out of stock and Moultrie has no information about when the MV1 modems will be available or the next generation modems they are working on will be available. It is ridiculous and irresponsible for them to not have modems available a month before the start of the deer hunting season which is how long there have been none available.Very Disappointed in Moultrie

I have about 140 game cameras out in Minnesota and Florida, mostly Moultries. The M-50 models have proven to be reliable cameras. This is a better record than Moulrie's M-40s, which were almost experimental and not ready for deployment. But they got the bugs worked out in the M-50s. I put them on trails to capture photos in Florida of panthers, deer, bears, bobcats, coyotes, feral hogs, otters, sandhills, turkeys, skunk apes, and a few alligators. In Minnesota my cameras track deer, bears, turkeys, wolves, coyotes, red and gray fox, ruffed grouse, and much more. Game cameras generally and the M-50s in particular provide otherwise unobserveable insight into how wildlife lives day and night. These cameras also have obvious security applications as well.

this cam rates very highly in my view because it lives up to what it is promoted as, it is as simple as that. If you first read the instruction booklet before you try operating it, it will perform as expected. One thing I might add is, I cannot comment on the life expectancy of batteries as I have not had it long enough yet. If you operate the cam on the various settings that are the leanest on battery use, it should produce surprising results.

Takes clear pictures even on the brightest or darkest of nights. That moon eyed possum, that digs in my yard, could not sneak by it. Now I know who it is and when he gets there. This camera seems to be a miser using rechargeable batteries.
