I picked this lens up for my mirrorless camera. It is a nice heavy duty quality unit. I advise buying the adapter with the integrated tripod mount. This is a fairly heavy lens, that may be a bit of a strain for your mirrorless camera. Contrary to some reviewers, I think the macro function is fairly useable, and it is sharper then my SEL 55-210 Sony lens.

While the close focus distance isn't outstanding, the zoom lens is extremely sharp, and parfocal (maintains focus while zooming). I use it extensively with a m4/3 body with sensor shifting, creating 40 megapixel images.

I'd heard rumors that this FD 35-105mm is parfocal, meaning that it keeps focus when zooming. I can confirm that my copy is not. It's a wonderful piece of glass. It's very useful and the range is GREAT for the price but it might not fulfill that magic cheep/parfocal video lens dream. For walking around, I'm finding it to focus close enough in non macro mode but not close enough for at the desk pixel-peeping test shots. ;).

Love the lens but the iris blades either are stuck or don't work. I've configured the mount in order to test the blades but they do not move. Little disappointed but I have it for a c100 so i will use the built in ND Filters to counter the iris.

Bought my first 35 - 105 in 1981. My son is using it now. I had to get one for my self. My favorite Canon lens.
