    Good quality replacement fuel filter housing with filter.

    Exact replacement part for my 2007 Bessacarr E495 motorhome (based on a Ducato 2.3 diesel cab). Very easy to replace. These filter units have a habit of developing leaks apparently so it is worth holding a spare. The item came in UFI packaging and was exactly the same as the Fiat branded spare which costs £180. There are some cheap Chinese-made ones about for less - if you want to risk it. For info - the later Ducato models have a metal filter housing but it cannot be retrofitted. Also note that if you wish to replace just the filter inside this unit you will need to remove it anyway, and use a special tool to open and close it, and a torque wrench. If this is not done correctly it will leak - so why not just replace the whole housing complete.

    it is what it says it is....slightly updated plastic body casting that should help with fracturing of the side 'groove',now strengthened with a couple of ribs (which is where my original failed...hairline leaking crack,very hard to see)......very prompt dispatch and quick delivery

    What I wanted

    Check that the cap is torqued to 30Nm, mine wasn't, using Laser 5843 Filter Tool and a reliable torque wrench. Don't be fooled by yellow tamper marks and assume that it is. It will leak otherwise. Removing the old housing isn't easy as the fuel pipes are difficult to disconnect. You need to pinch the grey flat sides of the fuel pipe retainers very hard and pull on the fuel pipe. Some instructions would have been helpful.
