    You have to change the board out with your old disc drive. It's not plug and play. But it does work. There are videos on how to do that.

    First off great replacement so far . Even reads my Xbox 360 ghosts disc that’s compatible with Xbox one . Second very easy to do yourself and is not a plug and play but the steps needed are on YouTube and isn’t impossible to get done with the right tools . Great buy so far . Very recommended
