    Modern-day Version of Quincy but Better!

    In its day, Quincy was a popular series along a very similar theme. Not for me though! I always found the lead character too much of a show- off, and frankly there was always something repulsive about him in my opinion. CSI Miami is far better : superior characterization (we're interested in virtually the whole team, and it's totally dominated by one character). The way the cases unfold is also far more interesting. It takes advantage of advances in science which weren't prevalent in Quincy, and the way evidence is put together like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, to form a watertight case, is fascinating. You feel at times that you're witnessing a bunch of top scientists at work, determined to get at the truth, rather than a bunch of not-very-bright lab workers just taking orders. Is there a ...

    Not for me.

    Worse than season 1 CSI Las Vegas, which I also didn't like. The lead character is annoying, characters are weak. Doesn't make an impact on me.Seems to be overated. Some may like though. Suggest trying a few before jumping into a whole series.
