It's a very good sub $300 welder
Welder came in proper time the great sub $300 welder does what I needed to do only thing is I did not get the right instruction manual with product. Going to put it to good work and use it a lot. It's been using the welder for the last week putting it through its paces MIG welding without gas it works excellent stick welding not really too impressed but don't like stick welding anyways waiting on new torch to do TIG welding we'll definitely let you know how welder does with TIG welding and we'll place picturesWelder came in proper time the great sub $300 welder does what I needed to do only thing is I did not get the right instruction manual with product. I haven't got the plasma cutter to work yet. Had to order another head for it, hopefully that fixes it. I got new head in, but still doesn't work. The air blows out nozzle, but doesn't spark or cut & after letting off the switch, it takes turning off the air for it to stop blow air. The MNA welds fine, haven't tried the Tig yet, still need argon. Needs to be replaced, the unit if plasma hasn't never worked. I haven't got the plasma cutter to work yet. Pretty good for a home shop
It came in and I’ve used it quite a bit at this point. Pilot arc wouldn’t make that much of a difference I don’t think, the only thing I’d recommend is go ahead and wire it for 220. 110 is ok but I had it on a 30 amp breaker and it threw it over and over in the middle of use. Only other thing is the plastic nut that holds the top of the air filter on the back is junk. Comes loose easily just by hooking the air hose on. Haven’t found a big one made of metal yet to replace it but haven’t looked that much either. Overall if your not using it everyday it’s a good little unit to have in your home shopIt came in and I’ve used it quite a bit at this point.
