Like its predecessors, World Soccer Winning Eleven 8 does not feature real-world teams or players (Electronic Arts holds the exclusive FIFA license), but it does offer extensive customization options, allowing gamers to set up clubs and leagues that simulate their real-life favorites, or to create more imaginative fantasy teams and tournaments. The series first came to 128-bit North American consoles in 2003 with World Soccer Winning Eleven 6 for PS2; 2005's Winning Eleven 8 is the first edition also available for Xbox.

    The most sensational soccer simulation of the 6th generation of consoles.

    The Best Soccer Simulator of its Generation. It might not have the licenses that the following ones (like Winning Eleven 9) had, but this game is the pinnacle of the evolution formula on 6th generation consoles. Excellent graphics. Addictive gameplay. Just the right amount of difficulty for the most difficult levels. The Master League is the biggest appeal of this game and it is simply sensational. It represents a time when FIFA was the supporting player in the story (not in sales, as its numerous licenses have always had great appeal with soccer fans). Winning Eleven 8 International is the benchmark in terms of refinement and simulation closest to reality at the time, and this Xbox version is the best of all, although the Playstation 2 also has a very well done version.

    Best game of all time.

    Love this game. It has always been my favorite soccer game of all time. Idk why konami through out the years hasn’t been able to make a game close to this. The control of your attackers and defense is out of this world. Really fun game. I believe FIFA hasn’t even come close to this level of gameplay through out the years. I bought a brand new copy to have it with me as my current copy still works but is a little scratched that’s why I wanted to get a new one. Loved playing this game with my older brother the competition that it brought was amazing. Enjoy!
