Easy to use
I can't vouch for the FAR infrared emmissions as I have no way of measuring them but it certainly heats up well and that in itself will help with any muscle stiffness by increasing the blood flow. I bought it to use on my dog who has a sore back and is having hydrotherapy. I put it on him for an hour after the hydro and after each walk to prevent muscle stiffness and help reduce any inflamations in his back. I have a separate cover when I use it on him so as not to get the original one covered in dog hair as I use it myself. He seems to like it and usually falls asleep. I use it onmy knee as I have a slight cartilage problem in one. I also sometimes sit with it on my back when I'm watching the telly in the evenings if it's a bit cold. Does what it says but inconsistently
The warmth is very pleasant indeed, however I find it inconsistent, even on the same heat setting it goes on and off.. Which is not a big deal as it's still usable. The build quality is decent for the price.
