Switch on, set up with your WiFi download the app and install, follow instructions, put your tape roll in and off you go. I have it set up on my phone, my tablet and PC, so I can print from anywhere on any of my devices. Two negatives. 1 you cannot sync your library, so what you do on one device you will not see on the other, unless I'm missing the plot. 2. The battery cost more than the printer. Very difficult to use and connect with the MacBook laptop.Its even more difficult to print the right size label, bought it hoping would be able to print shipping labels but it doesn't print shipping labels as well. Overall disappointed and not recommended.

We had the old big brother label printer added onto our pc so it was wires everywhere. Now everything is wireless and blue tooth things are so much better specially with this brother QL810W Hand writing has become weak so do all the Christmas cards was a nightmare. Thanks to this brother QL810W I can print my labels straight from my mobile . Would definitely recommend A*****
