Software updates are easy to do, just connect to WiFi. Works well with Mercedes and using the iCarsoft 38 pin (red) adapter I can access all systems on my 1998 W208 Mercedes (no 16 pin OBD2 port). Works fine on a 2005 Toyota Landcruiser Prado. Not so good with Honda it seems. On a 2016 Civic it does not recognize the engine computer and seems to have only fairly generic support for this make. Also, auto VIN recognition has not worked on any of my vehicles, but I can enter the VIN manually.
