  • I was disappointed.

I bought this because I've read ALL of Weiner's books and I absolutely love them. That said, I admit I sefishly read them because even though they cover life's struggles, they show how the characters overcome and generally have happy endings. While Certain Girls' ending was bittersweet, the one major unexpected heartbreak was too much. Had I known it was going to end this way, I never would have picked it up. Please don't let my disappointment stop you from reading it, you may have a very different take. I was ticked off.. Oh well. My only hope is there will someday be a book 3 of Cannie Shapiro-K's life.. because I sure do want to know what happens to her in the future.. and hope it's good!!

  • Certainly entertaining read

Certain Girls, the follow up to Good in Bed, picks up thirteen years later, and finds our heroine in some interesting situations pertaining to her daughter. Her past comes back to haunt her in many ways, and leads her to address some of her fears head on. The chapters alternate between the main character and her daughter, making a very interesting read, allowing you to experience the event twice, or at least the aftermath from both sides. If you even remotely liked Good in Bed, you will love Certain Girls.

  • Certain Girls

I read Jennifer Weiner's 'Good In Bed' and when I found out she came out with a sequel I couldn't wait to read it...I should of waited. I liked the book and certainly enjoyed some parts but was quite disappointed in the end. The ending was not what should of happened, in my opinion anyway, and it didn't make any sense to me as to why Ms. Weiner left it like she did. All-in-all though, I thought it was a good book and would recommend it, but it was the ending that really disappointed me, but maybe others wouldn't agree. It wasn't as good as 'Good In Bed' but what sequel can ever live up to the first?

  • Not Good In Bed, but still very good...

I have read all of Weiner's books and was very excited and looking forward to reading Certain Girls. I had read the first chapert online and I was hooked and couldn't wait to read this book! It isn't Weiner's best work, I'm still a big fan of Good In Bed, but Certain Girls is definantly worth the time to read.

  • ..enjoyed this sequel to "good in bed"...

I bought this novel because I had read "Good in Bed" and wanted to follow up with Weiner's characters. This work did not disappoint. The reader will appreciate the author's honed writing skills, reflecting the heroine's maturity. Enjoy !!
