      good value, quality for the price

      Used as replacements in complete rebuild of 1980-era 3-way system. Running 850 - 600 Hz, guitar, vocals & piano are good or better. Power range is more than expected. Improvement would be the terminal placement/use.

      Average Sound Quality for a Sealed-Back Midrange Driver

      For the price of this driver I wasn't expecting high fidelity performance, and it wasn't. This driver exhibits a broad response dip right in the frequency range where the fundamental tones of voices and instruments lie, ie the mid-midrange frequencies that are so critical to accurate response. This is not unusual for sealed back 5 inch midrange drivers that often exhibit a sunken or recessed sound quality. This is a decent sounding driver for what it is and for the money it is a good value for mid-fi home stereo or automotive applications.

      These are of good quality for MidRanges sealed back's, personally i prefer the plastic sealed case that gets silconed too the back of the midranges like the speakerlab midranges. But, these are good also... Sincerely, mikmatya-6

      Real nice price

      They were made for mid-range, but I cut the metal cone off the back before I installed it in my speaker box and I swear it sounds better than the infinities it came with originally... And I spent about the same amount taking my wife out for coffee at Starbucks yesterday
