In Season 5, Sig Hansen, a 30-year veteran matches his skills against old rivals, Phil Harris of the F/V Cornelia Marie, the Hillstrand brothers of the F/V Time Bandit, and Captain Keith Colburn of the F/V Wizard. Joining the fleet are the F/V Lisa Marie, the Incentive, and the Trailblazer. As the captains strategise, the crews are pushed beyond their limits of mental and physical endurance, repeatedly dropping and hauling 700lb crab pots. But before the season ends, the men will face huge storms, severe injury, a ticking clock - and each other - to bring in the crab harvest through hell or high water.
