I might not call the condition "like new", but the book was in really good shape. I don't expect perfection in a used paperback anyway, and the few minor defects which existed were depicted and also noted by the seller in the description. The seller packaged the book in a plastic envelope with a cardboard sheath, and sent in a sturdy cardboard envelope to protect against damage in the mail.
