OUTSTANDING! Great, fast communication & did an incredible job combining shipping (eBay is a NIGHTMARE with tools as they do not allow for combined shipping and without it, no one would buy or be able to sell ANY tools as their shipping charges double or even triple the bill for the auctions you've won! MORE people NEED to complain to eBay about this!!!) and everything is exactly as the seller described! I *HIGHLY RECOMMEND** The Caboose, Lionel trains and more Kirk

  • George Beam and the Denver and Rio Grande

The narrow gauge railroads of Colorado have more than just scenery going for them. They did not have the generous land-grant financing available to other lines, so the story of their building involves stories of determined, committed men responding to a vision. The photographs of George Beam served his employer, the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad publicity department, for decades before their use to inform and educate later generations. Fortunately for us the negatives were well organized and preserved. This is a must read, especially for narrow gauge railfans. Author Jackson Thode, himself a notable photo chronicler of the rais, did himself proud.

  • If you didnt know George Beam was the official railroad photographer I guess you woouldn't get it.
