Not revealed in the product description is a light smooth fabric LINING in the body & sleeves, contributing warmth, plus a Velcro-fastened storm flap over the zipper for ventilation. The sizing is adequate for layering of base garments and non-bulky warm shirt/sweater to extend the wear period into cold late Fall, mild Winter weather. The extremely rapid delivery of the jacket -- 4 days -- had it on my back for a scheduled shoot the next morning!!
