    Reliliable

    I have been using external LaCie drives for more than a decade now. I use them for data back, redundancy, and disaster recovery. They seem to last around 5 years, then they poop out. The 1TB drive is adequate for me right now, so the used drives are a real deal for me.

    You won't regret it.

    Works and looks great! Has some problems with it turning on and off without being prompted. Did some digging and found out I needed to download a firmware update. Smooth sailing since. There is no fan, so it is relatively quiet. Would and will purchase agin. Wish they weren't as expensive as they are, though.
