Way better buy than you know.

I replaced my BHJ puller due to the threads on the shaft being deformed from years of use. A new shaft was $80. plus freight. So this was a real good deal. I checked the hardness on a tester & found the shaft was really tough. The female half was just mild steel. So, I added extreme pressure grease to the threads to give it a fighting chance from fast wear. Knowing tooling a bit, I feel this will do 4 to 6 sets of heads due to the soft female half. On the BHJ, both pieces are hard & that's why they are so expensive. I use a 1/2" drill motor to pull them out so, it gets a little warm & it will wear faster for sure. If you do this by hand, it will last longer I believe, but I have to get things done more quickly than the average. Buy it. It works fine.

  • works great

This tool worked great. I had a rocker stud with stripped threads so a regular nut wouldn't work to remove it. But this tool uses all the threads to pull on, and it came right out. Very happy with my purchase

  • Get your studs removed

Just what the doctor ordered, nominal item, does what I bought it for. May not be available in this brand anymore, company bought out

  • KD rocker stud puller

This works really well and very efficiently. I tried the comp cams puller and it worked, but also allowed some of the studs to strip when trying to pull them. I managed to recut the threads and was able to get this puller to grab ahold of the good threads. It did not slip and actually made pulling the studs just as easy with a crescent wrench vs an impact wrench.
