This book give insight to determining true emotions of people who may say something but not really mean it or have doubts. They may feel like they want to express themselves outwardly in some fashion,or they can act in a certain way. Subconsciously they if watch they will give a hint that they may not be fully convinced themselves. It is very interesting red, and goes well with Paul Ekman's other books. If you are interested in other forms of reading people these books are are a great compliment and full of knowledge and observations. It can save you years of independent observations.Highly recommended if you enjoy body language, or other forms of observing people. I have enjoyed Ekman's observations and explanations.

  • Great seller! Fast shipment! Book in great condition.

Book is really good and interesting! It starts out kind of dull but then it gets better and talks about the different kinds of facial expressions.

  • The book gives me a good reference and training source.

Bought this product as a reference book. Need to be able to learn to detect facial expressions in persons I deal with and what they may not be telling me. Very good book by expert in the field.
