      One TOUGH Decapping pin.

      These are one TOUGH pin. I reload a lot of old "crimped" military brass and these pins take abuse. I've had other decappers and used my die sets for decapping but these are the strongest and the best in my opinion. I keep a couple on hand because I do break one from time to time, but not like other pins. Lyman over the years has been a great outfit with all their reloading supplies!

      A great product

      A great product, Deprimes/Decaps Mil Crimp AR-5.56, 308 Mil Spec, all the way to 300Win Mag, it does not touch the Brass anywhere. Perfect Tool. Will not overwork Brass as it doesn't touch it. after use, Neck Size, prime, charge, seat, and Crimp. Be sure to use the correct shell holder, the rest is easy.

      Outstanding Value- keep an extra on hand.

      If you decap brass in quantity with the Lyman Decapping Die, you will want to keep an extra Lyman Decaping Pin Assembly. The only way these pins break is when they are mistakenly used to punch out a Berdan primer, which was my mishap. Compared to other high quality depriming dies, the Lyman die is the best value. For this price, keep at least an extra pin assembly in your tool box.

      Very durable for the job

      The Lyman decapping assembly was a replacement for an old one I had in the shop. It is very high quality and I expect it to last a long time.
