    • AMD Processor Upgrade

This is an excellent processor for those running Vista Home Basic or other applications using allot of RAM, but housing only 2GB or under in their computer. The dual core adds to stability and enables the system to better handle the load, becasue of the Cache. This model of the processor also operates at a much lower wattage than the other dual core models reducing heat, heatsink size, and allowing you to install into smaller machines like HP Slimlines. I purchased two of these replacing both a Sempron and Turion Mobile and can identify gains in processing speed and stability over Vista and XP. More noticable on Vista.

    • this process or works fine

I bought it to replace the one that is in my Gateway desktop. it works fine.

    • I would recommend this product to anybody. Buy Now.

Processor is by the best and with the best. AMD is one company that processes processors and they come out working.

    • If you have an older AM2 motherboard and BIOS this chip will do the trick!

My antiquated motherboard needed a little boost and this did the trick. HP didn't recommend using any model higher than the 3800+ in my AM2 socket for various reasons. I would have liked to go a little higher, but this is a huge step up from my old 3500+ single core processor!
