Having had a love/hate relationship with the Merlin M802 Blue remote controls, I've finally found a reasonable replacement! These devices are very good. The buttons work great. The only comment is that the range is not as far as the original M802's. However, because the buttons work perfectly every time, we're more than happy to accept a little shorter range for a reliable operation.

I found this replacement remote to be a great little product and at a very reasonable price. After buying one a few weeks ago and finding it to be so good, I have just bought another one so that I can have one remote in the car and one in the house. Much more compact that the original remote that came with the roller door when it was installed. Very easy to set up - just unscrew the back and set the switches to match the roller door motor unit or the original remote.I found this replacement remote to be a great little product and at a very reasonable price. Great replacement for origianl
These little remotes are a perfect replacement for the larger originals that came with the door opener. I have no hesitation in saying get these as a replacement. I bought the first and instantly bought a second. To replace the original was too costly, plus these take up far less space. They are easy to set up. Just don't throw the old one away. Works well. Good price.
Little tricky to get open to access the dip switches (or eventually change the battery). You need to push in the sides a bit at the top. Apart from that, works well and came at the right price. Bought two and they both work fine. Way better than the ones for three times the price, and not actually compatible because don't have dip switches, at Bunnings.

Only catch is that you have to have small enough rings to fit into the space on the case itself. This remote provides a compact, value for money product. The added bonus is that it comes with two buttons - one to open and close the door and the other to turn the light on the controller itself on and off.
