The product is spot on and indeed was a genuine unit at a much cheaper price. The seller though does not reply to messages. The listing says invoice available upon request, i've requested for weeks and got nothing in return (legally a registered business in australia is required to provide a tax invoice within a few tax of request). This also makes me worry about getting warranty on the item if they cant reply to an invoice request Maybe avoid unless you need it cheap! Slow to post too!!

NP 2005 top glove box catch
I bought this to replace the existing top glove box lock that has an inherent problem of failure and can’t be opened due to internal wear. I drilled a hole in the face of the faulty one, dead centre (same place you use the key in the bottom glove box lock) and used a screw driver in the slot (that you will find when you drill the hole) to operate the lock to open the glove box. Than simply unscrew two Phillips fixing screws, removing the old catch and installing the new one and do up the two fixing screws.I bought this to replace the existing top glove box lock that has an inherent problem of failure and can’t be opened due to internal wear.
