Almost perfect.
Works nicely on DC with DCC sound locomotives. BUT--No on/off switch?? No emergency stop?? I'd consider these to be vital features.

It does what it says it will do.
The box did not look new, but everything inside appeared brand new. After hooking it up, I am now able to run my old DC frame motor locos, and also, my DCC sound equiped locos. Only drawback I see is that I will have to reset the decoders before running on our club's DCC layout. I am happy with this purchase.

Must have for those who want DCC but can't spend the $$$ for a complete conversion!
Great controller and a great value at $60. Only gave it 4 stars because it lacks an emergency stop and a power on/off switch. The companion hand held controller does have an emergency stop but no on/off switch also.

One of my best purchases in a long time
It does all the advertising says it will do. Great way to give DCC Sound a try without breaking my budget. Entertaining? You bet! Only problem is, I spend way too much time in the train room now.

Good for DCC Sound
Works good with sound decoders and causes light to turn on at low voltage levels. It must have a PWM circuit also. It will drive a Power Station 8 booster. Good bargain at $60
