It opens up fairly easy. The bottom stiff yet can rub with soap and slides easier. The light that comes with it very nice. The company personal very good and strives to make you happy.

Happy with this stand very good value for the cost It also shipped fast if you need a stand this Item will fill your need plus a light to see better with.
