I highly recommend Stan's Depollier book. It is a well researched and comprehensive book that brings to light the true history of the waterproof watch. A great book for a watch/military enthusiast and those interested in innovation. I also recommend his other two books he has written on both Elgin and Waltham Trench Watches of the Great War.
