Don't cut your fingers
Flexcut tools are some of the best entry level tools you can buy. I still use my older ones every project. If you find knives you like better flexcut have great resale. I didn't believe you can find something as good for the same money. Buy the way, easy to sharpen and hold a great edge.

Great tools
There are 2 names I trust for carving knives, Flexcut and Beaver Craft. Both are ready to use coming out of the box/packaging, no sharpening required. Flexcut is premium quality with excellent carbon steel blades that hold their edge, as they dull all it takes is a little stropping to bring back the edge.

Great for Chip Carving!
Great beginner set! Good quality tools with very sharp blades. Handles are formed to keep hand in the correct positions for carving. I have not sharpened the blades as of yet to see how well the edge keeps.

Flexcut chipping knives
Bought these to go with my new Chisels and Gouges for my new Guitar Carving Hobby/Business. So far so good. I need a carved blade from them .These are okay for straight cuts but not scalloped Never owned any before, so I have nothing to compare with. These are sharp and work good so far.
