  • Not just for brewing

I brew, but this one I got to fit an extra stainless steel stock pot I use for making apple sauce. We use an apple wedger to slice and core our Cortland apples. Then we dump them skin and all into a stock pot with just a bit of water in the bottom to make steam. We used to burn the bottom apples till we tried this. It keeps the apples up off the hot bottom of the pot (we use a Cajun Cooker for heat) and the sauce comes out great. However, I will be using this for brewing too ;)
