Covers everything about guitars. It includes different styles of guitars and what sounds they are best used for, including benefits of the use of different woods. How they are built and designed, who first designed them, How to play guitar, the different styles of playing and which keys/notes are most commonly used, and a LOT of manufacturers with what they built, when they built it and when other names they used to build the same guitars. It does not mention a street value because this book can be used 30 yrs from now, street values will change by then. This book even includes repairs to your guitar.Covers everything about guitars. 2004 book still rocks, lots of useful and cool info
even though it's from 2004, it still has lots of useful info, and photos of cool guitars, etc. Wasn't expecting all the tablature for playing (if you read tablature) - a bonus for those merely expecting history and photos
