    A great view into the making of this iconic television serial. Anyone who watched it and loved it will be enthralled by this book and the insight it gives about what goes into the making of an Historical drama and the detail that the producers, directors, costume desginers etc. go to in recreating an authentic portrayal of the era.     Nice book for the enthusiast.

    We had seen a copy of this some years ago but were not sure how to get hold of one, after a suggestion to go on line we got hold of a good second hand copy at a good price. The fact the book is not new adds to the charm that it appears we have had the book some years.
