Very beautiful...I wish the blade were longer. However the advertisement plainly stated 6 inches which did not specify the 6'' included the handle.

This letter opener, although attractive, has little to no edge for opening sealed envelopes. It was practically impossible to open an envelope without making a mess and shredding the flap, which kind of defeats the purpose. I ended up throwing it away.
