The Catechism Explained is an exhaustive explanation of the Catholic religion. I purchased this book through a library public sale and thought it would be useful as a reference source. If you want to know about the views, traditions, prayers, devotions, and doctrine of the Catholic Church, this is it! Topics include: confession, communion, faith, marriage, and much more mixed with church history and scripture references. Note: This book of 752 pages is a reprint without changes from the previous 1921 version. The church has changed their view concerning a number of topics over the years that would not be noted in this edition. My rating for The Catechism Explained is based on the book as a reference source.
One of the most complete and thorough resources on the Catholic Faith.
