    Under-rated book. Great grasp on politics

    This was the only Hunter Thompson book I didn't own. You can't go wrong with him. He was set in his disgust with bullshit early on and never wavered. Yes, this book is written later in life when most of the piss and vinegar has leaked out the pant-leg of most modern revolutionaries, but not Hunter. He steers you clear of the over-trodden route of complacency and explains in plain, inarguable english what you missed in a matter-of-fact way that will alarm you that you "didn't look at it that way" and sends it home with a right cross of conviction. Read the man. Beside the entertainment factor, you might catch a bit of self-preserving wisdom.

    True HST

    Another fantastic book from The Great Gonzo. Once again HST gives his different view of the world and those in it. A story mixed with sobering reality and drug induced versions of another form of a "reality" that HST is so well known for. Will make you think and also laugh as you follow the Great Gonzo around on his journey.
