    The stories really bring you in.

    Always wanted to see this show. Finally broke down and got it. Very Happy I did! Got it after we watched all of Downton Abbey. Love the stories and especially the characters. I'm old enough to understand about the quality of videos from the 70's and it kinda takes me back to my childhood.

    May be a good series if it had closed caption

    Product was a great value and in good condition. Started to watch but because series does not have subtitles or closed caption, it is difficult to understand a good portion of what is being said.Will have to figure out how I am going to be able to listen. My tv does not have outlet for earphones.

    PBS has come a long way in entertainment since Upstairs Downstairs

    I should have bought and watched this before I watched "Downton Abbey". So in comparison, It is a dud. That may be unfair but different times represented and different characters represented, difference in filming, etc influenced my opinion

    Can't hear it

    Month my mother and I are hard of hearing. This nine season DVD set is completely used to us because it has neither closed captioning or subtitles. It would have been nice if that had been mentioned in the product.
