    Makes a big difference...

    Upgrading from some £13 'HQ' rca interconnects, these QED cables have transformed the sound of my Sony CD player. I guess you could call my kit "old budget audiophile": The Sony CDP-XE370 and a NAD 302 amp connected to Mission MX3 floorstanders with AudioQuest FLX/SLiP 14/4 Bi-Wire Speaker Cable, playing across a 3.5m deep room. Spending £100 on the speaker cable certainly made a difference so I was fairly confident about this purchase, but I would say the difference is even more marked here. Whether I actually like the sound remains to be seen - apparently audio cables take a while to "burn in" plus my ears take some time to adjust to a new way of hearing things. There is a much wider and clearer soundstage present, more detail and good base, but at the moment I feel they need a larger ...

    Great Music Reproduction

    Just bought these cables for my turntable, a replacement for faulty QED 40's. The 40i's are excellent quality and build. The music sounds so much clearer and louder. Love them.
