Pilot Metropolitan
The pen is excellent for the price...The material in the pen is substantial, while classy in it's design...It writes/ink flows right from the get-go, and there's no hitch such as digging into the paper (and i've tried various paper types)...I usually use a bigger diameter pen, but the metropolitan is SO smooth, that i'm very comfortable...Excellent pen!

Best fountain pen around at a great price
The Pilot MR is the best fountain pen I have ever used it's easy to clean and maintain, it writes almost as smooth as a ballpoint, and it's made out of metal so it's not going to break easily. I HIGHLY recamend the Pilot Metropolitan for anyone looking for a stylish refillable pen that will last years to come. I DO want to mention if you are going to use the pen alot I think you should be a con-40 "converter" to make it easier to refill. Awesome Pen!
I got my pen in 3 days, brand new, well packaged, with a converter and 1 ink cartidge. The pen itself writes beautifully. It has a fine point and it just needs the slightest amount of pressure for it to write. It does bleed a tiny bit once in a while and I do need to clean the nib sometimes. However I hear that a small amount of ink bleed is normal in these pens so I'm not worried about it. Other than that it's perfect. I can't stop writing with it! Very good; not excellent
Very good fountain pen,especially for the price. Writes smoothly, but there has been isolated feed hesitation. This could be a break-in factor, although I've not noticed this with any other fountain pen. This one small annoyance has prevented a fifth star.
