A really nice album by Richard Betts, longtime guitarist for the Allman Brothers Band. I've had this recording for many years, and always enjoyed it. It flows easily, and Dickie really picks it up and jams on the song Hand Picked.Anyone who loves the Allman Brothers will like this album a lot,and most of those fans will already be familiar with this album, which after all has been around for over thirty years. Definitely recommended.
I bought this on vinyl when it originally came out in 1975 and listened to it over and over. My entire vinyl collection got wet & moldy then had to be destroyed. I heard one of the cuts from this record on the radio and ordered it right away. After a few listens, I realized why I like it so much in the first place, because it's excellent. There's some great singin' & pickin here especially from the late Vassar Clements on fiddle and the late John Hughey on Pedal Steel Guitar. Enjoy!
Like new, plays perfectly. Fantastic selection and prices. Great tunes! Thanks!!

I had this on vinyl back in the seventies. I was tickled when I came across it on ebay - I'd forgotten what a fine album it is. Just great laid-back country rock/swing type music; and guitar tone to die for.
what a guitar player

Briefly speaking, Dickey Betts made a great choice of material, songs and performances with this recording. Always a favorite of mine when jammin' southern country music is in my mind and I don't have my guitar handy.
