Good OEM quality, but immobilizer did not program
I bought 3 of these mlbhlik-1t OEM key blanks for my 2012 Honda Fit. I took the blanks to a local locksmith who cut the keys and attempted to program the immobilizers. Unfortunately, the immobilizers would not program for any of them. (I programmed the keyless entry on my own for one of them and that part worked, but the immobilizer would not work.) The key blanks all cut fine and work, but if it doesn't start the car, it's of no real use to me. The auction description claims it will work on a 2009-2013 Honda Fit. The locksmith used a transponder reader to compare my existing key to the new blanks and the Type: Transponder46 and chip: PCF7961 both matched. What seemed odd to the locksmith was that the new blank said "status: already locked". So, the locksmith swapped out the transponders ... I bought 3 of these mlbhlik-1t OEM key blanks for my 2012 Honda Fit. I took the blanks to a local locksmith who cut the keys and attempted to program the immobilizers. Unfortunately, the immobilizers would not program for any of them. (I programmed the keyless entry on my own for one of them and that part worked, but the immobilizer would not work.) The key blanks all cut fine and work, but if it doesn't start the car, it's of no real use to me. The auction description claims it will work on a 2009-2013 Honda Fit. The locksmith used a transponder reader to compare my existing key to the new blanks and the Type: Transponder46 and chip: PCF7961 both matched. What seemed odd to the locksmith was that the new blank said "status: already locked". So, the locksmith swapped out the transponders with others he had and those programmed fine. So, I paid him a little extra for the 3 transponders and now I have 3 new fully working keys. Another note: it was very difficult for me to even find a locksmith willing to cut and program a blank key that comes from an unknown source, even when it is an official Honda OEM key that exactly matches my original key (I mean the locksmith ensured the FCC ID matched before being willing to attempt duplicating it). And after this experience, I can understand why. Time is money and extra time spent to troubleshoot such issues quickly eats into profits. I got lucky. I found a great locksmith who quickly solved the problem at a reasonable price. Overall, I still saved money over purchasing the key directly from the dealer or via a key kiosk, but not as much as I had hoped and I had to spend a ton of time searching for a locksmith who would even cut these. (The primary reason aside from the programming is that this key needs to be laser-etched and at this time, there are very few non-locksmith cutting services which can duplicate a laser-cut car key.) Another solution maybe to purchase the non-FOB key from the kiosk for $99 and then get a separate keyless entry FOB for $10.

The fob part works but the blank doesn't...
The fob part works but the blank doesn't. It's thicker and heavier duty metal than stock and even after getting it cut to match the original key it locks the door but won't unlock it.
