      Excellent !!

I tried Apoxie based on a recommendation from a good artist supply store, and am delighted. I have been trying to find a replacement for another brand that is no longer made. I use this mostly for repair -- pottery, china, metal - most anything except wood. I hope it will last for a while, because I don't use "that much" of it. The jars are easier to handle than the blocks I am used to but hopefully the inability to seal air out won't matter. This mixes really easily and I have been delighted with the way it molds and works. The ONLY criticism I might offer is it takes longer than my prior brand to set up - almost too long for my purposes, I have had to brace things to keep them where I want. It does dry rock hard and sands away really well, and takes paint readily. I am REALLY glad ...

    • Apoxie Sculpt White

Apoxie Sculpt White is a great product for sculpting. It really is a light gray color when mixed. It comes in two parts, A & B and you mix in equal parts. I like this compound for my sculpting projects because you don’t have to fire it in an oven and get the bad fumes. It hardens overnight into a rock hard sculpt. After I start sculpting a section of sculpture, I will wait for about a half hour and then put in detail. This cleans up with water. Make sure you clean your sculpting tools soon after use. No baking, no fumes, water clean up, no shrinkage,. I highly recommend this product.

    • Apoxie clay is strong and versatile

I stumbled on Apoxie clay when I was looking for something to use to make memory jugs. Most other materials cracked and fell apart or wouldn't hold the memory pieces. Apoxie clay is just right -- it is very adhesive, easily shaped and formed, and dries hard as a rock with no shrinkage. Once I started using it, I found it had many uses, including repairing all kinds of materials. It can be painted and sanded after it hardens. I also experimented with coloring the Part A with acrylic paint before mixing with Part B hardener. This is effective and doesn't seem to affect the clay at all. It is better than glue for some kinds of jewelry making, I think. No slippage and glue spreading. Great product!

    • Strong and sculptable

I used this product to repair an outdoor fiberglass statue in which the hand and other areas had broken. It had no strong odor like Bondo, and was much easier to form into fingers. It adhered well, sanded well, and I painted right onto it. It is strong, and you would never know where I made the repairs.

    • Works great but color is wrong

Worked perfectly for what I needed but it says the color is white and it dries to more of a gray. Was hoping to only use a small amount but ended up coating my entire project with it to keep the color uniform without having to use paint.
