    Good, but noisy

    It has been running for a month, so too early to tell how good is this disk. Good: - Value for money - In addition to SMART tests you can run an IronWolf (Seagate branded) self-test to see if there is any issues Not good - Definitely noisier than my previous disk Seagate ST4000VN000, you wouldn't want to have a home NAS with those disks in your room.

    fast and great value

    This is a great value fast drive, and Crucial's Storage Executive software adds even more speed. A word of warning about the software, though. It has issues with Windows 10 Creator edition. The problem is caused by Java 8.131. If you're doing a clean install of Windows 10 Creator, then download Java 7 first, then upgrade it to version 8. If you do this, the software work and you can enable moment caching, which increases read-write speeds by a phenomenal rate.

    Ironwolf NAS drives

    at the price point they are available at, ironwolf drives are arguably the best on the market for home NAS users. I have 8 drives now and never had a single smart error or bad sector over the years.
