        I love this thing

        I recently got into micro quadcopters and needed a better charger than that usb charger that comes with most battery packs. I viewed several reviews on youtube then decided to get the charger, I have to say this charger gives you lots of information despite its size. It tells you the voltage of the pack, how much its putting back into the pack, it tell you if there is an error with the pack when the pack is charged it beeps and flashes that the charge is completed and more. Wow Im thinking about getting the Hitech Touch since I use bigger packs, this is a great charger if you dont already have a charger that does 1s or if you dont want to mess around with your bigger charger just whip this bad boy out and charge away.

        Solid Performer

        Purchased this charger mainly for some LiPos in the 650 to 720mah range for a small Syma X5C1 quadcopter. Plugged in four 680mah batteries that were at about 50%, set it to .68A to charge and it took less than 30 mins to go from 50% or so to FULL 4.2A. Much better than the cheap chargers normally included with these batteries. Solid build, all connectors fit it with a solid click, yet were easy to remove when finished charging. Display sorta counts down, I guess you would call it, charge rate slowly drops as it gets closer to FULL. I only have the one type of battery connector, but I have tried different sized mah batteries and after setting the charge rate, they seem to charge in about the same time no matter the capacity. Small Update: Did a single 720mah battery on it after running ...

        Many things to like

        There are many things to like about this charger. It does properly charge 1S batteries at the selected charge rate. It also has both positive and negative polarity connections for molex connectors (which I needed). Controls are fairly intuitive: hold the button down to start charging. Even the sounds it makes are aesthetically pleasing. As a bonus: no wall wart needed. How could it be improved? Maybe if it had a "maintain battery charge long term" mode for stored batteries. Also, the charge rate/voltage/level circulating display can be a bit confusing until you get your head back into the "lipo cell mode", and know the expected range of each value. At the price point none of this is really to be expected, of course. In summary, as you can probably tell, I like it. :)

        Nice charger

        Does a nice job charging LiPo ‘s. Allows you to dial in the charging current from 0 to 1000 mA. for four separate batteries. Sounds a “beep” when your batteries are charged, displays “Full”, and stops charging. Works only on single cell LiPo‘s (3.7v). Would be nice if it had a discharge feature to take batteries down to a safe storage voltage. States that the voltage/current charge tolerance is 10%. That seems a bit too much tolerance when dealing with single cell LiPo’s, but that’s just my opinion. All in all, I am happy with the purchase!

        Hitec X4 Micro charger

        Its perfect and just what I was looking for. Perfect for my one cell lipo batteries. Small light weight but heavy on performance. So much better then those cheap chargers that are supplied with the rtf heli's that I fly. Don't go on with out this great little charger. Only thing I changed was I made four adapter cables that stay plugged into the charged and that way I don't wear out the charger ports plugging in and unplugging my batteries from the charger. If I wear out a adapter is a easy replace but saves the charger itself. Great little charger.
