    You do pay for the Quality!

    I have seen the rubber sealing gaskets on aftermarket air filters crack with age and heat. Not so with Tecumseh filters. Tecumseh air filters also use a galvanized sheet metal end. Not cheap plastic or painted metal as used on aftermarket filters.You always pay a little more but you really are getting a better product.
