I bought this after having my second baby to start getting back in shape (I am normally a Crossfitter but needed something for the living room for now). I had used a couple of Jillian's older videos for the first two weeks after I began working out again and found the formula of 2 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio, and 1 minute of abs was fun and kept things moving so I was looking for more of these workouts when I found Bodyshred.
I am just doing the workouts in order and not following the program. I have liked them so far and will say there are challenging portions, mostly the push-up sections for me. I often up the tempo on the cardio sections as I don't normally feel it's hard enough.
Good instruction on most of the moves but there are a couple I have to stand back and watch before getting them right. Warm up is annoying as it is the same every time.
Overall, these are nicely done. I would recommend having various sizes of hand weights as they do in the video.
Great workout set!! I have many of her videos and was afraid it would be the same - THEY ARE NOT! It’s totally different and very challenging! Thirty minutes goes fast with these and I feel great!!
