  • Every Dragon Must Sprout it's Wings!

I have been looking for a good copy of the next installment of the Like a Dragon series (otherwise known as Yakuza, since it's technically Yakuza 8.) The seller sent this to me in a reasonable timeframe and it was worth every penny at a more reasonable price than most stores. Definitely recommend this seller just for the quality of the product. The game is a joy in itself, like going to an amusement park from the comfort of your couch. Among all open world games that usually feel like a chore, this takes a more efficient approach, where although the world is smaller, all the content normally far beyond your reach is in a more pleasant distance that makes every corner of the bustling environments feel alive as opposed to being deprived of fun. It's compelling gameplay makes it so that despite being a turn based, you won't find yourself in boring grinds for long, as between the many side quests, mini games, and dynamic combat approach, each fight feels new and polished enough that you want to keep playing, while experimenting with all the little quirks and features of Like a Dragon's uniquely wacky and hilarious brand of turn based gameplay. You continue the story of Ichiban Kasuga, where after an unexpected twist in his life, winds up in the far off coast region of Hawaii. If that weren't strange enough, he also encounters a certain familiar face known to the Yakuza franchise, the Man with No Name himself. He'll be joining you in a journey of both thrilling battles and good laughter. This game is a blast to partake in, filled with all sorts of epic turn based battles that don't feel grindy and more of a fun packed thrill ride, especially as you go on in the story, unlocking all sorts of unlockables, summons and classes to diversify your play style. This game is a joy for me as a guy who has owned the entirety of the Yakuza series and serves as a great sequel for those who've only played Like a Dragon. As an avid open world enthusiast, this is a great addition to your collection, and worth the play. I highly recommend it.

It's a fun series in general. SEGA is nice enough to still add stickers and other bonus stuff in their physical game releases.
