    A very interesting way of presenting a life of Jane Austen as seen through the eyes of her devoted sister Cassandra.

    I'm a big fan of Jane Austen books and the book gives an interesting, authentic perspective on her life from the point of view of her sister. The letters device and the switching between time zones works very well. An excellent portrait emerges of Jane, her family and relatives.

    A gentle read

    I enjoyed the book it was a good read inspite of the fact that I have never got on with Jane Austin. I also thought I was buying a second hand paper back but it was a hard back in very good condition.
